The Peninsula Bangkok is putting some extra-special touches to the word
"luxury". In December, it will open the Peninsula Spa, a full-service
oasis in the heart of the city that is a spa destination in itself.
Nestled among lush gardens, in a three-story Thai-colonial building that
combines modern touches with traditional charm, the Peninsula Spa will
have 14 treatment rooms and four suites, two double and two VIP suites,
all with ensuite jacuzzi. An added feature of the VIP suites are rain
shower, floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony with sweeping views of
the Chao Phraya river.
The hotel has partnered with world renowned spa consultants ESPA to offer
the service, along with a line of exclusive ESPA products. These are mainly
made up of natural ingredients, which go hand-in-hand with advanced technology
to bring the best of eastern and western treatment philosophies together.
Guests can simply make a booking and leave everything else to the spa
therapists, specially trained by ESPA, to recommend the most suitable
treatment. The spa experience begins as soon as the guest steps into the
entrance with its water feature, and into a world that transforms itself
from modern to classic through a series of subtle changes in design and
decor.
From the state-of-the-art treatment beds and relaxation beds with individual
I-Pod access to the outdoor pools and stylish Asian Tea Lounge, every
detail in the new spa is designed to create the ultimate indulgence.
Voted the "Best Hotel in Bangkok" by readers of Travel + Leisure
for the fourth consecutive year, The Peninsula Bangkok offers luxury accommodation
with stunning views, award-winning dining and unsurpassed personalized
service.
