Butterfly Garden
Na Tian Butterfly Garden is situated on a hillside
overlooking the ocean on the southeast corner of the island. Visiting
the Butterfly Garden is a great way of getting close to some beautiful
creatures that one would otherwise only ever see as a flash of vivid
color against green forest. The butterflies on the Samui farm flit
about naturally amid tropical foliage, but they can't completely escape
from view.
Apart from the numerous species of butterflies on display, there are
also other interesting features in the garden: a bee house, a Thai
style house which allows the visitor to observe the activities of
bees; and in the insect museum, rare insects from Thailand and other
countries are displayed. |
